Anyway, we currently have several motorbikes parked around the Co-op, and there has been discussion of starting a motorcycle group.

The main thing at the moment is to get secure motorcycle parking area. Having designated motorcycle parking would make bikes more secure and it would save space too. One/one and half parking bays would be enough (I think). The bikes could be made secure by locking them to a heavy duty chain or ground anchors. One proposed bike parking area is next to the bins (how nice) end of Swanns Terrace. Some bikes are already parked there.

Why in Earth?

• To make parking secure
• Save parking space
• It's cool to be a member of MCC
• You get to wear leathers with loads of badges etc.
• Keep bikes parked in one place and keep other members happy (and bike-positive)
• Any more reasons?
