Rent Group

The Rent Group is notionally who members will approach to pay their rent although the first point of contact is more likely to be one of the Coop’s paid members of staff during office hours.

Members can also approach the Rent Group if they are experiencing problems paying their rent or need to organise a repayment agreement if they fall into arrears.

The Rent Group is also responsible to ensure that the Coop’s policies governing rent collection are up to date and relevant. It meets frequently with the office staff (why ?), to advise on matters of policy and to ensure that policy is being followed.
